SCIENTIFIC PROFILE

Degree in History and Archaeology, University of Crete, awarded second-class honours (2004); Master’s in Archaeology (DEA), Sorbonne University, Paris (Paris IV) (2005); Special Diploma in Museology, École du Louvre (2006); PhD in Archaeology, entitled “L’activité textile en Attique (Ve et IVe siècles avant notre ère”), under the co-tutelage of the Sorbonne University, Paris (Paris IV) and the Ruprecht-Karls University, Heidelberg (2013). Director of the Hellenic Centre for Research and Conservation of Archaeological Textiles (ARTEX) since 2015. Has taught Classical Archaeology at the University of the Aegean (2018-2021). Currently PI in the research project FAROS, The Fabric of Kings: Funerary Textile Remains from Mycenae and the early Mycenaean Textile Production, University of the Peloponnese (H.F.R.I. project no 7354) (2023-2025).
